i would laugh hard at how many xbox fans will be like 'blu ray is the best! look my xbox has bluray' after all the shade they threw at sony.. it would be interesting..

It wouldnt bother me. If they use it for games so be it. I still wont be buying bLU Ray films. I have 1080p films on Xbox Live. Al of them which are impossible to scratch or break. Wy would I go backwards in my technology just because its there.

Personally, I prefer the 5.1 and 7.1 uncompressed audio and the extras you'd find on an optical disc.  So having more content and higher quality audio going backwards in technology?  You must be humoring yourself.

So Id have to spend more money eitherr renting or buying a Bluray, than what I'm currently doing without the need of a  shop? Without the need to store films?
Also lately Zunes films have been getting exclusive content like certain Makings, deleted scenes Etc. It tells you on Zune MArketplace when a film has exclusive Zune bonus features not found on the DVD or Bluray.

Going from the future of tecnology to yesterdays Disc format is backwards. The future will be eavily streaming and downloading, its just a matter of time. So yes Id be going backwards. As I hhave adopted tommorrow early. :)

So you in other words, you dont care about visual and audio quality.

and dont care about having constant special features on every movie

Audio quality will only improve. On my 5.1 setup it sounds really good. No need for me to spend extra rigt now. Also I have watched Blurays before. Of course I'm sure you will say teres a diference, but it is not noticeable to the naked eye that the picture is beter or worse. Zunes 1080p films are brilliant quality and I have Kinect which impresses alt of people wen watcing aa film. IMO The features I hav watcing a 1080p film outweigh the features Bluray offer me.

this whole part is very amusing, coming from you, with you and all your graphics threads, and posts. it definitely confirms what most probably thought, when you talked graphics, and visuals.

Zune - Pluses over Bluray.

Cost

nope, in fact i would venture to say, you can probably find most blurays cheaper than you can of zune (prices rarely get dropped there), on retail, and especially amazon.com, you find blurays for extremely cheap.

Storage

i guess

No remote

i dont even know what this means

No need to leave the house

you dont need to leave the house for bluray either, ever heard of netfilx

Will never break

lets see if you are saying that  blurays can get broken, a feat that if accomplished, would be most impressive, with the protective coating on them and all, i will point out that with Digital Distribution, you are suseptable to leasing rights, zune, can take it down anytime they want. hell your hardrive could crash, and your movies would be gone.

Can watch with friends over Live without needing multiple copies or beeing in the same house.

frankly, i dont know why you would want to watch a movie with someone thats not even with you, and im pretty sure you can do this with bluray movies through BD live. also im pretty sure its an xbl feature, nothing to do with the movie.

Will never need to replace my format ever again.

why would you ever have to replace bluray

Bluray - Plusses over Zune

Complete audio quality

Unnoticeably minute improved picture quality

Does not get affected by internet issues.

you always own them

will still be able to watch them if interent goes down, or hardrive crashes (hey you were doing rediculous points to)

Zune has many more plusses imo. And is future proof. I wont ave to change my Blurays in 5 years for a new  medium.
