Meh I still joined the convenant and got it up to +2. Was just wondering what is the downside of killing an NPC(besides not being able to buy the spells) and not requesting absolution..

If you're going for the Platinum it will not be a huge deal because you could just buy the spells on your 2nd or 3rd play through.
