Believe me brother, I don't hesitate to lay down the law. Once he was old enough to know better, he started getting "big boy" whippings, rather than little love taps. I've never had a cat that misbehaved like this. I can't watch tv or movies when he's out, because he attacks my big, expensive LCD screen. I can't play games because he attacks the screen and the wire for the nunchuck controller. It's hard to even surf the net with him out, because he attacks my best pal doggie Sable(who happens to be the sweetest being I've ever met). If she is laying on the couch with me when I'm watching a movie, in other words so close to me that I can swat him if he attacks, then I can let him loose. But that only last a few minutes, because he goes for the screen.
It's sad because I'm such an animal lover. I don't know if his mother abandoned him, or if she was killed or died. I felt so bad for him, and I have a weakspot for animals that have nowhere to go or poor living conditions. Me hands were tied.
Perhaps I should just make him a small Atlasphere(like in American Gladiators) to roam around in. That way I could enjoy his company, he could be free to move around, and he wouldn't be climbing all over the place. The strange thing is he very rarely used to climb the entertainment center or my book case. It's been getting worse lately, but he knows better because he doesn't do it too often when I'm down here. Oh well, maybe it will pass when he gets old. :)
