Forget the DLC and updates, GT5 was an unfinished mess, still is and will be forever. It was very disappointing, yes a good game but no where near as good as previous Gran Turismos.
PD are much better off putting all resources into GT6 and trying to release in 2012. A fully fledged GT6 in quick time is much better than a half completed GT5 with a additional content here and there.
