I hate zombie games and I can't wait for this.

I don't care about the setting really. The bad guys could be fluffy rabbits for all I care. I just love the basic gameplay so much: it's a co-op game where you really need to cooperate. In most co-op games, it really plays out like 2/3/4 people who are technically on the same team, but for all intents and purposes they play like single players that just so happen to be next to each other.

The idea of actually building an entire game around co-operative play, and making it so that cooperating really is an essential component of the game, rather than the usual "you can cooperate if you want to, but really, let's just blow crap up together," is a wonderful evolution.
