I'm still looking for combos to increase my weapons power (without resorting to the utterly lame Magic Weapon glitch). Best I've had so far is 810, but I think I can get a better one.

Best thing I can think of is Power Within. I took a break from using it since one cast is enough to force you to use about 2 flasks overtime (otherwise you're dead), but I've considered using it again because how easy it is to get humanity in ng+.

Also, I just noticed something from your OP.

Iron Flesh =/ Anyone can finish the game. Go on, I dare you to use Iron Flesh on bosses like Taurus, Quelaag, Ceaseless and Seath (or pretty much any boss that either has a knockback attack or magic/fire/lightning attack.

I've been using it on plenty of bosses in ng+. Even Quelaag, makes them pretty easy. It's only bad when you use it at a far distance and gotta slowly walk your way towards them. I still love the game but it didn't have that magic difficulty that Demon's Souls had. Fights like Maneater/Flamelurker were memorizing due to the stupid amount of deaths I had.

I don't see why that's a problem though. It seems you just want to remove everything from the game, every spell, every pyro, every miracle, and just be a hack and slash fest. Sorry to burst your bubble, that's what strategies are for.

Well then.....I really don't understand this statement. I never said remove pyromancy - I was just saying that it's not a unique "line" of spells, which throws out the concept being a "pyromancer" out out the window. Isn't this encouraging variety rather than heading in the direction of being a hack'n'slash fest? Oh hey, why boost my attunement slots heavily for pyromancy when I can just be a strong melee guy with tons of damage and get free pyromancy while I'm at it?

Every miracle? I only mentioned TWoP, and I'd love for it to stay in the game as long as it's toned down. It indirectly increases your offensive power by a huge amount. I'd say it's strongest on melee types.

I never once implied that I wanted the game to be a hack'n'slash.

If this is where the discussion is headed, why don't we just end it here? Was hoping for some nice talk that isn't the same "GAME IS CHEAP, GAME IS HARD" stuff that I often see on other forums but guess I shouldn't be expecting much here either.

Meh, if you want talk about the game being cheap then you can definitely take the conversation some place else. The game's not cheap, it has some imbalances, just as Demon's Souls had as well. It's not less or more cheap than DeS.

Or do I need to remind you about the whole Wrath of the Gods 4-2 cheapness amongst many other cheap exploits?  The infinite Soul Arrow spammers? The perma-lock Dragon Bone Smashers?  Heck in a couple of seconds alone I could remember many more imbalances and cheapness on DeS.

You don't get it do you? On Demon's Souls you could be a tanker and still cast Firestormer like a boss sorceror. It's the same frigging thing with pyros on this game, no one was expecting that. I don't see why suddendly it has become a major complain. If they can nerf the IMBAs and better the scaling on stats weapons, then the game will become much better, no doubt. People will be forced to actually think strategies for their class types instead of relying on same, old proven tricks.

But to be honest, I'd rather have them address the glitches more urgently than the IMBAs, because that's what really breaking the online PVP. Not lightning wielders, not free pyros, but the frigging Magic Weapon Glitchers.
