The lower income groups are going to be payign more no matter who wins the presidency.
Everyone including Obama has talked about "Broadening the base".
Which is political slang for making more poor people pay taxes and basically raising everyones taxes...
because at the end of the day, you can close all the tax loopholes you want and increase taxes on the rich... and all it's going to do is bring in not nearly enough revenue at the expense of slowing the economy, and in a worse case scenario actually end up needing more revenue then you did before the taxes.
Closing of tax loopholes needs to be budget nuetral.
So for every dollar of taxes Berkshire Hathaway pays, someone who is actually paying the 32% gets a dollar off.
