Just noticed a big typo in my post, 'maxingly' isn't a word, should be 'amazingly'. In my view they don't. There used to be 2 main X-men books, that turned into 3 because of Whedon, his stories didn't even relate back to the other 2 main titles which did relate to each other. Now, Uncanny and Legacy, and soon Wovlerine and the X-men will be the books that relate back to this, X-men and Astonishing X-men don't could easily be considered not in continuity. X-men book seems to be more focusing on guest appearences but I don't care, and I'd hope sales would dictate, custoemr don't care either. Astonishing was once a book for Whedon, then he left after shitting on it and Eliis too over, 2 big names, now Daniel Way writes it, no point even keeping the book. Uncanny X-men is being reset back to #1 for no reason other then marketing yet it's the only book they had never 'relaunched'. Legacy and Uncanny are the 2 main and they have the most characters and are involved in the main events and universe, the other X-men seem pointless. X-force and New Mutants can stay as they are different. Just wish X-force would stop ruining heroic characters by turning them into murderers. Only a few X-men are left that are heroes. Sad days. EDIT: I'm very bitter today. |
I think its because they are ending Uncanny X-Men in December? and Starting a New Era for X-Men, but thanks good to im not missing out on anything.
