LOL just what I thought. The 1 billion isn't even close to enough. It was a bandage for the problem at the time. They figure it will get better so they wont need to spend as much. M$ has been trying to get into the living room for some time now. The 360 is the first dent they have made in this arena, but I don't think it is the answer. Sony is showing that they have better ideas at this point, and have implemented a far better plan. The PSP/PS3 interoperability is an amazing feature. Add in the Skype, and location free and the PS3 is the ultimate Media Center. Sony also has an advantage on the TV front as they have now started implementing the XMB into all of there new devices. This only gets people used to the functionality and brings things like consoles closer to people that would generally be afraid to purchase them.
