"Sadly menu interfaces, and accessibility are not considered to be part of gran turismo's core strength's. Its going to take a whole lot more than a revised game to take the crown best driving simulator. I think journalists are getting a little bit ahead of themselves when they start proclaiming that forza has taken the crown away from gran turismo 5. Forza does not have better graphics or physics.

Gran turismo 5 has a staggering amount of new content compared to gran turismo 4 boasting weather, damage and an unprecedented number of cars. Forza on the other hand features kinect, some top gear and 5 new tracks and no track editor? Gran turismo has weather something forza 4 is completely devoid off. Where are the racing karts, super cool prototypes like the citroen gt or redbull x1?

There are so many areas that forza has not bested gran turismo, and there are so many different features that forza has that gran turismo does not have. Are these games even comparable? So technically speaking forza 4 has not begun to challenge the crown of gran turismo 5, forza also suffers from support issues, turn 10 are good at churning out dlc, but actual fixes to the game are not addressed and ignored. Gran turismo may have had more issues at the start but the post support they have given to the game is second to none.

Graphics wise, sales wise and physics wise, Forza 4 still has a way to go before it can claim any crown. Gran turismo's core strength is that it is the real driving simulator. In order for a game even begin to compete with gran turismo, they would have to clearly show advanced graphics and proven platforms that show the accuracy of their physics engine. Forza is the best racing game for many, but its stolen nothing from gran turismo."
