I find it funny that somebody on the hardware design staff suggested intuitive motion controls for the 360, and it got disregarded. While I'm sure that this sort of thing happens all the time, it is still interesting to realize just how not-obvious that sort of design was to MS at the time. Guess they had their eyes on the dedicated gamers... Nothing wrong with that. Just a smaller potential market.
