But its a serious bitch to drive and extremly rare and nobody sells it. I drove an SL300 roadster from the 60s a couple of times its like a workout and you need to be fit to drive it for hours.

 

Those cars are just for looking imo. The next best thing is an SLS:

Opposite the main hospital where i live is a large multi story car park and next to that is a small car park that holds about 1O spaces for private use and the walkway to the elevators passes between them so when I went to pick up my car  i began to notice sitting there  usually by itself was this 300SL then one day a guy was standing next to it , we started talking he was a surgeon and owned the car, he let me in to the car park and I got to sit in it was very awkward to get into.He told me his father also a surgeon had purchased it new in 1954 and now the son drove it to work and only if it was dry.

Wow thats lucky. The 300SL is super rare you can buy 5 Ferraris for the price of one. 1 Million+ with history even more. I never saw a real one that was used to drive around.
