Yes, I can easily see the difference.
As to wether I prefer 60 FPS with worse graphics or 30 FPS with better graphics, it depends on the genre or game.

For a game like Devil May Cry 3, I'd rather have 60 FPS to have more visual feedback and make the controls more responsive than if it was 30 FPS.

For... JRPGS, I'd rather have better graphics at 30 FPS.

The best thing for me would be having both though, but we'll have to wait until next gen unless you count the PC.

I remember playing Wipeout HD alone for a while, then switching to split screen to play with my brother... the framerate looked sooo shitty and it felt harder to play.

It's easy to see the difference in the videos you showed, the difference was more noticeable in the monkey ball video than on the SEGA logo for me.

I wonder what 120 FPS looks like... even though I can play games like DMC4 on PC at higher than 120 FPS, I can't see any difference because my monitor is 60Hz and all I get from a higher framerate is screentearing.
