For that PS3/360 alligned launch arguement. All I am saying is you just can't shift 2008 figures into 2007 if PS3 were released a year earlier. What I would expect is that if PS3 launched in 2005, then PS3 would have seen super low sales that first year because in 2005 PS2 was crazy popular, and 7th gen consoles were not in demand yet. So PS3 would likely have been above the 360 if that were the case, but I would argue it would have been <1 million. i still can't make that arguement cause we don't live in a time where it would happen or did happen so i can't argue that cause it speculation. i was just making a general arguement that has been made over the yrs.

I can't argue with you and the OP. Seems like you should take it up with Seece. I see these types of threads too often, and I know most people will not edit their OP or title. Some will (in the case of a FFXIII Versus MP thread), but few will. i'd talk to Machina about it if it was that important but its not. as far as i'm concerned its his thread so he can title it the way he wants, but its misleading.
My PS3 broke, right now I just borrow a friends PS3 time to time to play the exclusives. I'm busy with school now, so I probably won't get the PS3 until next summer, and I'll be playing Uncharted 2 and InFamous 2 then. same here. i won't have UC3 till next yr anyway.
@Jay - I'm not going to go look, but generally on this website we do see more PS3 will be #1 threads then any other console. I think postofficebuddy has a link to one in his post above me, didn't even have to leave the page and I found one lol. and that matters why? let it go M5. you'll kill your self going into that conversation. maybe i'm not making this hard enough for you. i can if you want?

I'll agree with you on the PS3/360 alligned launch arguement. That's an intelligent answer. I just want to say many things would have been possible. true, but accounting for that is a hard arguement to make because it didn't happen. and thats one reason i let it go early lol. considering the PS3 and 360's first 2 yrs have PS3 leading. thats the only way to make the arguement. saying the PS3's 6th yr would be better then the 360's is the hardest arguement to make, but comparring to trends you'd say PS3 would sell better in its 6th yr then the 360 which has been the case since the PS3's second yr.
At the end, you do agree with me that there are more threads saying PS3 will surpass 360 then vice versa do you not? Seece is one person, he doesn't make that many pro-360 threads. agreed about the Seece comments but i must admit i'm not a threads person anymore. infact the only reason i'm in this one now is to conversate with my good friend M5, but he doesn't seem to be here lol.
all i know is who ever makes those threads from either camp isn't making the conversation easyer. all it does is continue to divid us, and then it becomes political and we both know how politics go! but thats another story for another day.

@ Jay - It's trivial for me to find threads identical to this one, but in favor of PS3. I gave you an example of a thread where people say PS3 will take over __ that's enough. I'm not even debating this point with you, so there is no burden of proof for me to give, Marcus has already accepted the point and we moved on. srry jay but hee's right. jay plz let it go for ya boy.
