Was he actually saving the other dog or simply trying to move him to a safer place to eat?

Either way Dogs >>>>>>>>>>> Cats as a cat would have stayed there to eat it because its so dumb.

Cats are literally 10 times smarter than dogs. Dogs are really pretty retarded.

Actually, no.  Dogs have a far vaster comprehension of vocabulary, an innate sense of human need (via evolution) and more social skills than cats due to their more rigid social structure.

If you had said that "dogs and cats are intelligent in different ways, and I prefer the solitary 'I'll eat you when you die because all you are to me is a meal ticket' mentality of cats", then I would agree with you.  "Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks", I say... but saying that "dogs are pretty retarded is just that.

Plus, I've never accidentally killed a DOG because it was stupid enough to crawl into the hood of my car (for warmth overnight) and had it caught in the fan belt upon ignition in the morning despite warnings.  Dogs are sensitive enough to stay away from something that you tell them to avoid.*

*  These were not my cats (yes plural) and, yes, I did rap the hood, honk the horn etc. after the first incident... but apparently some animals never learn.  On the other hand, these were farm cats, so I suspect that they were highly inbred.
