Yeah, but have you played the console sims? they really miss the point of the game.

They did excellently with the Sims 3 PS360 versions ... dunno what you're talking about. Even I was a skeptic before I played the Sims 3. If you are talking about other console Sims before 3, I can't judge them since the only Sims I ever played were the PC original and 3 on PS3.

But do tell. What was the point they missed?

The main reason for them making Sims 3 is the seemless world around neighboors where they can walk around the town without any loading and random spawning, which on consoles , is removed instead they have the karma system which makes the game even more dumbed down, i have it on PS3 and PC by the way.

on PC the world is seemless, you can walk around the whole town without loading or respawning and menu stuff, also there is more interactions and more options online interactions and more stuff to do, there is also a lot of freedom , which is the whole point of the game.

Some of us are not PC gamers anymore, and Sims 3 consoles does a pretty decent job filling the void. It may not have all the modifications, cheats, additional interactions,or all of the DLC PC owners are "treated" to, but it sure as hell had enough content to keep me entertained for months. Yeah the load times could have been better, and they actually did become better with a late patch but it did not hinder the exp, It's kick-back-and-relax game. If you're willing to spend hours mindlessly guiding sims arounds, what's 5-10 sec load screen every ten minutes? The karma system was a neat addition, and you actually had to work for those points! It really feels rewarding in the end. I never thought of it as dumbed down, only as an opportunity to treat yourself after  successfully completing enough wishes. I'm actually disappointed that you see it that way because Karma features were rather fun.

Now to the second paragraph ... oh wait you repeated the load screen arguments to make it look like you had more points to argue -_-
