Seeing the NPD results for Sept makes me doubt this even more. The price-cut has had more of an effect than we previously thought. The PS3 was only down by 64K, when we previously thought it was down by 143K. And this is only the US, one of the PS3's weakest territories in terms of market share. I can only imagine how far we may be off in EMEAA. Like someone posted before, MS is only going to pull this off by a greater than $50 cut (maybe only $50 to the entry model) and basically giving Kinect away for free.

Are you still so sure with your bet? Don't want to see anyone have to leave. Not unless that's what you truly want and are just using MS being ahead by a whole million this year as a way out.
