I just registered, now I have to keep checking an email account I don't use.

Very much the same issue I have... I haven't really ever used my email account for anything so much so that I now have over 10,000 unread messages :|

You both realize there is this handy little forwarding option that sends all your stuff to a different email account if you want? :)

Well I obviously didn't know this . Although I sure as hell don't want all of those emails sent to my main account, in this instance it could prove useful. So if you would be so kind, explain this to me in a language that a noob can understand.

Eek, well it is in the Options section of Windows Live/Hotmail. You can either forward your entire inbox, or have emails from certain set email accounts be forwarded automatically. It's really neat, but I don't have time to explain everything. Just sign in to your email and on the upper right hand side there is an options button with dropdown. Choose "more options" and you should be able to find it then. Under "Email Forwarding" if you want all emails, or "Rules for sorting new messages" if you just want certain emails from specific addresses.
