lol I'm not obsessed with America, I am obsessed with politics and my country happens to be Canada. Canada's biggest partner is America and most stories relating to Canadian politics involve America. You'll note every thread I have made about America in the last few months have all been about Canada.

The reason they seem absurd is probably because I am Canadian and Canadian's have drastically different views on America and its politics. I was actually going to create a poll that said more Canadians support Obama then our Prime Minister. But thought that one Canadian story every week or so is more then enough!

You mean left sided individuals support obama.  And since the country has a majority conservative government one would assume they do not support obama.  Obama is one of the worst presidents in the history of the US, he has done nothing but give speeches where people grovel at his feet.

And every country uses torture you just don't hear about it.  This torture was also used on Terror suspects and not regular armed forces from my understanding.  The torture of these terrorists also lead to the capture of Usama bin Laden.  Without Bush and the American system Usama would have never been caught.  I vote against torture on terror suspects is a vote against our freedom.
