he use to be in the WWE yrs ago and left to do pro football and when he wanted to comeback to wwe they offered him less money and he wouldn't take it and thats when all hell broke loose.
he was under a no comp clause for a long time do to a previously pending law suit i believe. i think that lasted for about 4 yrs but WWE let him fight for all japan pro wrestling, pride fighting champion chips, which has since been bought out by the UFC, and i think K1 which i think was also bought out by the UFC.
he and the WWe tried to negotiate a new deal with in those 4 yrs but no agreement could be reached and the law suit was dropped and that was the end of it.
to answer your not so much question he is not licensed to WWE so or UFC so he can be in any game he wants, but do to the fact he is under contract with the UFC they have some say so.
he was already a super heavy weight in the WWE, but the UFC classifications have him at heavyweight, but he has to loose weight to make weight to fight. he has health problems as i was reading in the report on gameinformer. i'm not sure why but hes having problems but it doesn't sound good and i wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors.

yea i left for good then came back lol.
but seriously i went to gameinformer again to look at the transformers info and then to g4 then i came back and have ben answering quotes ever since mom lol. i need to go to PSN to fix my brothers acount so he can get on PSN.
i'm having so many problems since that damn seizure. i can bearly spell a lick.
