no they were not, you could turn them off.
how could i forget Crysis 2? played it at a friends house and it was not all that, it was pretty but that means nothing when the enemies get stuck in place

ohhh....Dang it. Those crummy controls made throwing a grenade an unenjoyable event. Do you understand how hard it is to make throwing nades unenjoyable? The only other game that did this was Homefront and only because the throwing animation was the worst EVER.

you dont have to tell me they suck thats why i turned it off ASAP. Try the game again you might like it more.
