I was the one who said I wanted specific aspects of uncharted that you know for certain are not up to par with others..and asked for a proper discussion. Unlike you i have played all games in question and hence unlike you i know what I'm talking about.

the details I laid out was about the 'MP" aspect of uncharted and platforming...in the sp pop games and TR games are some of the most known that we can draw comparisons. it's a different type of platforming. it's not mario..its not sonic..heck its not even R&C. the approach is different. it's like saying shooting in FPS suck cuz you in your opinion think that TPS shooting is better, harder. there is no way you can back such claims with facts. hence why one should draw comparisons with similar games that belong to that sub genre. i won't compare a tps to a fps for shooting mechanics cuz that's just silly, despite both using 'shooting' elements.similar example would be comparing gt physics to burnout physics. both are racing but the approach is different.

you made a statement about a game you haven't played. do you even udnerstand how stupid that is? i have been told nsmb and smg are rather boring and crappy compared to R&C by some of my friends. but i am not stupid enough to take their words at 100%. I am definitely not stupid enough to make dumb remarks about the overall game just because he said she said, unlike you. I gave those games a try to form my own opinion. so for example when i say mario platformers in general are rather boring in comparison to others..that's MY opinion that i have formed from MY experiences. if i go into a nintendo thread and say hey NSMB SUCKS!or its the same old forumla ...it's so damn boring etc...WITHOUT playing the game..I would be trolling. simple as that.

you said Uncharted jack of all trades..but master of none.. but you have no idea how the game works..how the game has done platforming for a similar games real well and also how it has taken it to new levels with the MP aspect of it. or how great of a TPS it is.or how it does other aspects so darn well. all you have addressed is how clueless you are and how you pull out facts from your ass to try and be funny..and fail at that too. badgenome does similar thigns at times but the man is actually funny!

and don't think too highly of yourself..this was never about 'you'..'you' don't matter to me >_> why should i care about you, geez..the only thing I addressed is the 'bs' you pull out. nothing more nothing less.

go play the game you make statements like you did ...then come back. it's hard to take you serious when you don't..you can't 'discuss' any aspect of ANY game properly..at least not when it comes to gameplay..without actually playing it. there is no way you can draw comparisons..hence why you are full of it and hence why you are wasting my time :)

All I get from this is that Uncharted's platforming is superior to the ones found in Tomb Raider and Prince of Persia, but that's not exactly a high bar. Far from making Uncharted a master of platforming. Unless you want to break subgenres down so far that we have to crown a game for being excellent in FPS platforming, but that would be silly.

I am not refering to some friends that might as well not exist, but members here on VGC who went on record to say just that. They can be held accountable. So how about starting a new thread to discuss Uncharted's mechanics indepth, both the platforming and the shooting? I'd like to see if your claims of how awesome Uncharted is actually hold up or if there are differing opinions that can be backed up.

It was all about me. Always. You either read the original post and then respond or you read through the entire thread first. Since you somehow catched my reply I have to assume that you read the entire thread, because, since according to you, you don't care specifically about me and don't actively look out for my posts. And if, according to you, you were only looking for "bullshit" to call out, then why did you skip Machina's post? So there's two options we are looking at:

1) You just lied about don't caring about me.

2) The shooting mechanics in Uncharted are indeed mediocre (EDIT: the exact words were "quite average", doesn't change the overall point though), because you made no objections to Machina's post.

people on the internet opinion > real life friends. >_> such a sad notion. an even bigger sad notion is anothers opinion = must be true. the whole idea is so rediculous it's not even funny. We have had dozens of threads on Uncharted and gameplay mechanics..both sp and MP. I'm sure you are capable enough to look things up so do it. I'm sure you will find many posters praising various mechanics of the game.

why should I argue with machina? :S in HIS opinion of a game he had actually played..he found the platforming to fun and memorable while didn't like the shooting mechanics. which is completely fine. you on the other hand pull out facts out of your ass and try to too hard to be funny..and fail. :) you are not 'special' lol so don't get your hopes up
