GTA IV is ridiculously overrated.

Just caus someone jumps into the 'holier than thou' camp doesn't mean they are right.

But he is right. I do have an opinion, but like he said, games are rated the way they are for a reason, therefore your opinion and mine (i agree with you) are just a minority and shouldn't be individually valued more than the majority's.

You are overcomplicating something very simple.

If;

the perceived opinion of the majority << the actual opinion of the majority

=> ITS OVERRATED

Just follow these easy steps:

1) Go read reviews and check the metascore for GTA IV

2) Go and play GTA IV

3) Read impressions and comments about the game from people that didn't just chuck out a review within a week of its release

4) Realize I'm right as it is ridiculously overrated and would've merely been above average (perceived) without the GTA name.
