Um, field hockey is a tiny sport which doesn't compare to icehockey worldwide. Field hockey isn't big anywhere, absolutely no money in it. Nobody watches it.
Ice hockey on the other hand players almost makes as much money as soccer in top leagues and the sport is hugely popular in many countries.
Icehockey is much bigger in Germany than field hockey btw. Second most attended teamsport after soccer there.
