If we start applying the law to undeveloped tissue in the same way that we would sentient human beings, then if a pregnant woman goes for a stroll around the block, trips and falls, and the fetus dies, then that's involuntary manslaughter.
If a couple uses the morning after pill and it doesn't work, then that would be attempted murder.
The only place where we can draw the line and maintain any matter of rationality is at birth. To suggest that we should give rights to undeveloped tissue is absurd and opens the door to all kinds of silliness.
