Well, I don't hate April 1st itself, I hate the week leading up and the week after. It's impossible to read any news because people always have to get their oh-so-clever lame jokes in.

Did you ever read the magazine EGM? They would always have a bogus story in it. I usually knew it was fake, but the few times I forgot about april fools day I was pulled in only to be let down big time the next month! Don't mind this one too much though.

April Fools use to have some cool pranks, but within the last five or so years it just keeps getting worse and they just keep starting earlier.  It's at the point now where it's just pointless to even reading gaming blogs within a week of April Fool's.  Forums are even worse.
