It will, a bit, but it will. Owners of GT5, who are the bulk of sim racing fans on console, are less tempted to buy a new racing game after this update. Moreover (to sim racing fans, not casual gamers or xbox only owners) a $39.99 GT5 may be more attractive than a full price Forza (without wet tracks, loose surfaces and the likes).
