The point of this video was to show that there wouldn't be a massive obvious upgrade as many people would have you believe. I saw very little difference in this video between component and HDMI. The most glaring differences didn't come in till the end when they were in the dark and the vibrant fire was different between the two outputs. If they recorded both in HDMI the results probably wouldn't change drastically.

What do you mean you can't adjust the brightness on capture cards? I have a pathetic old card that can only take composite and i can adjust brightness quite easily.
