Do the casual bump in? Get your friend to take her out to coffee or a bar or something, and go for the "OHAIDER, didn't know you were here!"
Or you can just send her a message - which can be creepy, seeing as you've never met her at a party and the way you found about her is slightly weird.
Bump into her first, add on facebook afterwards.
