I`ll just say i disagree with almost everything.
MS might have resonated with another audience - Sony hasn`t done that so much - but still, it did more at the beginning of Kinect than it is doing now.
The power of a console matters not. It did not matter, to PS1, PS2 or Wii.
The tablet like controller is a perfect fit for core console gamers, core tablet gamers and casual gamers on both sides. With that controller alone - if Nintendo and 3rd parties do take advantage of it - will appeal to an even bigger audience. Of course, given the games, gamers will come!
Saying that Nintendo is just Mario, Zelda and DK is forggeting titles like Wii Sports, Wii Fit and Pokemon.
Giving me the chance to play almost everywhere i want in my house if people want to use the TV when i`m playing, is more than a winning point, it`s WINNING! And is far more effective when you are giving that interaction on the get go for a smaller price when compared to other possible combinations.
