Who wants the iphone 4-S?

Why?

Because if you have an iPhone, you are then tied to iTunes. It's by far the worst media management program out there and is just a plain dreadful user experience. It's bad enough if you use only one computer but if you want to listen to music on multiple computers, it's just hopeless.

If iTunes wasn't such a waste I would love to suggest the iPhone to more people, but until then, nobody who isn't already tied down by iTunes should get an iPhone.

what are planing to get instead of a new iphone and what prefer to itunes?

I would actually love a Windows Phone.  As for what to use besides iTunes, anything.  It's amazing how bad iTunes is at everything it does.  It is easily the worst media management software out there but if you have an iWhatever you have to use it.

I'm not trying to hate on Apple.  I love my iPhone.  I actually forgot my phone yesterday and I felt hopelessly lost all day not having it there since it's my phone, watch, toy, calorie counter, calander, contact list, and everything else.  The iPhone and smart phones are great in general but iTunes is just so bad.
