it sounds like youre really between 2 chairs there, huh? The thing is, if you get an GTX TI, you wont be able to play, lets say, Battlefield 3 on Very High with a stable framerate either. The Card youve mentioned is probably among the best at that price point, but it wont enable you to play newest games on high end settings. HOWEVER, if you feel like having more affinity towards your PC, go with the Card first. if you didnt feel to have a PS3 at ya' Home for the past 3 Years, you wont die waiting another couple of months. And if you intend to play .. lets say, Skyrim, Rage, Modern Warfare 3 and so on, you get the superior, and on top of it, cheaper version on your Computer. And if you get a PS3, lets say, next March, you may be able to get many great PS3 title's for far less money by then.
my personal opinion is; Get a PS3, and let God of War III blow your mind until it bleeds of satisfaction, but i am totally biased towards my PS3, since i couldnt care less for the PC's library (Console RPG Fanboy, i am. -Yoda), the same for Indie Games.
