I don't want this debate either, but dismissing the theory of evolution because the tomato seeds he planted turned into tomato plants and not watermelons is quite extreme.

He was simply using that as an illustration of how ridiculous the theory of evolution was to him. Sadly, the point was clearly missed by many, including yourself, and the person who failed with that sorry excuse of a "demotivater poster".
