If you figure that a rapidly developed quality game on the HD consoles took 2 years, with most of these games taking 3 or more years, I would be surprised if most major publishers didn't have games already under development for next generation consoles. After all, if Sony and Microsoft try to produce a system with a significant (generational) jump in graphics over what is being done on the HD consoles today games that take advantage of this will require 2 to 4 times as much development work; and this will translate into longer development times.
