Am I going too slow on ICO *possible spoilers*

I'm desparately trying to get the Castle Guide trophy, the one where you have to complete the game in under 2 hours. I'm on my second playthrough and I managed to get to the East Arena bench in 50:02, is this already too slow to get the trophy?
