yeah it is. for me its more of a disappointment
i wouldnt blame sony to much though
i believe MS did some real good things this gen very aggressive caught sony sleeping, and if alot of the 3rd party PS exclusives didnt go mult, and GT had a better american car list i dont think the ps3 wouldnt of fallen off that much in US. other things too i believe affected it like not having rumble at the start of the gen (i believe sony didnt start bundling the DS3 with there HW till late 08) also incorporating trophies mid gen many thought they did just to copy MS.
the big exclusive games MS have like gears and halo to me scream americana, i dont get that with PS's god of war and KZ, LBP,and some of there other exclusives. plus they came out later than its competition most games are going multi now so unless theres a particular exclusive you want many arent going to wait/stay for the PS3 especially since it was at a higher price and had the issues that i mentioned above
