Agreed. They really gave it a strong effort, but with no new FF game on the horizon or MGS, Japanese gamers stayed away. They missed out on some quality JRPG's too, but in their eyes why buy a 360 for these smaller or new JRPG franchises when they want the big guns like FF, DQ and MH. Well Japanese publishers weren't willing to commit to those at first, so neither were Japanese gamers.
It annoys me when people try to pin this all on MS. Compared to the Xbox especially, they really did all they could within reason.
