PS3 sales have not seen that much of a leap since the $50 price cut Sony made about a month ago.
One thing that really bothers me about the PS3 now being $249.99 is that it is now the exact same price of the WI-FI only Vita. I dont know about yall but pricing a great powerful console the same/lower then your new handheld is a bit of a risky move and my opinion.
Do yall think Sony should have waited for the price cut later this year or even next year. Making a Price cut in Late Augest seemed very careless of Sony for many reasons.
1. Gears 3 released a month after the PS3 price cut and the 360 is now outselling the PS3 in america by a 2:1 margin.
2. Doing a price cut at the end of summer in my opinion is the worst time ever. Kids gota go back to school, Young men like me gota apply/go to collage during this time. And vaction time/fun time comes to a end during this period.
3. Why could have they just waited till the holidays to do a price cut, Or atleast until one of Sony's flagship exclusives come out. (Uncharted 3)
Please let me know how you feel about this decision Sony made. It does not seem like a very financially smart move by At all..
