Probably one of the best anime-transitioned to 3d looks I've ever seen. But no, it won't save the PS3, whoever said that Japan loves franchises is right, I don't recall many recent new IP's making a break through in Japan. I agree with ctk495 that the only thing that could save PS3 in japan is DQX, that's how big that franchise is there, but it won't come out on the PS3, DQ9 will sell too well in Japan alone for S-E to be stupid enough to pick anything other than a Nintendo Console (DS more than Wii though). I don't even think FFXIII will save PS3, make a mark yes, but turn the tide, highly unlikely, considering it's still at the very least 10 months (being very optimistic) away. By the way, I find it hilarious that PS3 fanboys were ragging on Mass Effect for being a RPG with shooter elements (claiming it to be just a crappy shooter) and then making sure that this game is clearly defined as a SRPG... seriously, anyone else find that absurd? |
I'll admit I used to rag on the 360 about shooters, but now it seems as if the ps3 is the one getting all the shooters. KZ2, R2, and Haze plus all the multiplats are all htiting in a single year. Give me some other games, because fps isn't my cup of tea.
However, this game, despite being somewhat shooter oriented, does look very interesting to me. I think I'd prefer it over Mass Effect, because I'm also not too fond of WRPGs. Mass Effect being a combination shooter and WRPG really turned me off, lol.
