Well, Uncharted 3 is a GOTY contender and will win plenty of awards, but let's be honest, this year it has a TON more competition (than U2 had).
We have Batman (more hyped than the first one and stablished IP), Skyrim (Which will be huge), Portal 2 (G.L.A.D.O.S), Zelda (Could bomb or surprise), Gears 3 (Modest Chance), MW3 (Unlikely though), Battlefield (Might do it) and a lot more.
Uncharted 2 had Assassins Creed II (Fair defeat), Batman (It wasn't a hyped stablished game), CoD (Which, honestly, wasn't competition for U2) against it, and almost nothing else.
