it did well last time i checked it got outsold 4:1 on the ps3

and it's ps3 exclusive atm stop trolling and if this were to go on the 360 it would get gimped these types of games have to stay on the ps3 because it will sell better on it and it will reach it's full potential

I didn't make the thread, so aren't you the one trolling for going right in here and whining about something? Outside of Japan the ratio of sales between the PS3 and 360 version of FFXIII was about 1.5:1. That's still pretty damn good for a JRPG franchise on the 360.

PS3 and 360 graphical capabilities are very similar. Making 3rd party exclusives doesn't make sense anymore. FFXIII gained 2 million sales by going MP, and didn't suffer in quality on the PS3, enough said.

i know but 1.8m is pretty good but they only went multi because they wanted more $$$ but it's nearly 5m on the ps3 version which should be enough anyways i don't mean graphic capability's i mean blu ray i mean final fantasy XIII 2 is 1 disk on the xbox that scares me alot and if verses go to 360 (unlikely) it will be another gimped version so square can make a bit more extra $$$

4.7 million on the PS3 is less then every single main series Final Fantasy in the last 15 years, excluding the lackluster online MMO FFXI and FF XIV. That's even less then FFX-2. The extra 1.8 million sales the 360 version generated at least puts FFXIII sales above 3 other mainstream FF games.

With PS3/360 hardware sales nearly split, SE is loosing a lot of $$$ making any game exclusive. This isn't like the PS2, PS1 or even SNES and NES. Sales aren't a landslide towards one manufacterer. 3rd party exclusives make little sense this gen.

As for FF being gimped, if Versus went MP, I think SE could develop it better then XIII and XIII-2. CG cutscenes would have to be compressed on the 360 like they were for XIII, and that puts the quality to sub 720p, but thats the limitation of the 360, and that's what 360 owners should expect for a CG heavy JRPG. However the in game graphics and gameplay shouldn't be a problem. I don't think making the game MP will hurt the gameplay, and as long as SE either compresses the CG or makes the 360 version a 5 disk game, then I see no problem with Versus going MP.

However it's really all up to SE to decide. I just like owning JRPG's on my 360. It felt very weird playing Valkyria Chronicles on PS3, and I know if JRPG's release on 360 they get localized. Again, not a big deal for FF, it will get localized, but it shows Publishers that JRPG's do sell outside of Japan, and I'm tired of JRPG's (mainly from Nintendo, i.e. Fire Emblem DS 2) not getting localized despite having a reputation to sell outside of Japan.

i know this isn't the ps2 era anymore and most 3rd party devolopers need to go multi but allen wake hasn't done that yet and the sales are dissapointing but they are loyal and i admire that about them as much as i would love to see allan wake on ps3 i would rather it staying on the xbox to show devolopers loyalty can pay off even though microsoft arn't rewarding them one bit... but the article is mis read so it's still an exclusive but if verses went to xbox it would have to be multiple disks for it to work .

and im like u im just used to the Playstation i never even heard of the xbox until 2007 lol in australia it wasn't even on the map untill around then but ive been playing the playstation and nintendo console's all my life so im used to them. i do have an xbox but i don't pay much attention to it unless if i wanna play reach.
