This was possibly the most emotional night in baseball history with those 2 games alone (not to mention the whole NL wildcard scenario) the rays were down 7-0 in the 8th scored 6 runs then tied it and eventually won in the bottom of the 12th inning with the walk-off homerun by Evan Longoria. How the red sox were up 3-2 in bottom of the 9th inning, Orioles had 2 outs, runner on 2nd with 2 -2 count and the Red Sox season/playoff hopes all on Papelbon's back. He then gives up the double tie-game and would give up the game-winning RBI single to Robert Andino and thus the Red Sox would weep as they saw that 8-7 score in Tampa while the Baltimore Orioles celebrated as if they had just won the World Series.

I agree I did not catch it until the end, but that was just crazy! Especially how it was all looking a few days ago, and now we are where we are.

Not only a few days ago but ever since Sep. 2nd the Rays were behind the Red Sox by a whole 9 games; it pretty much seemed hopeless right there but they slowly crept up on them and won.
