My favorite movie is Princess Mononoke, hence my avatar. I'm more into movies then watching series but the most memorable series I have on DVD is serial experiments: Lain.

I just bought Eden of the east and El Shaddai ascension of the metatron but haven't had time yet to watch/play either.

I'm still looking for grave of the fireflies, impossible to get for a reasonable price. It desperately needs a rerelease.
The most expensive single movie blu-ray I've ever bought was the blu-ray edition of Akira and it's worth every penny. It looks stunning and the Japanese hypersonic Dolby TrueHD track blew me away. My laserdisc and dvd version look and sound like crap in comparison.
