Shrug, I've heard talks about when the debt is called in since about 1996. Admittedly, I was 12 and had no idea what the hell it meant then.
It's quite a scary thought, but like Peak Oil being predicted, every year it looms closer and gets scarier, but until, or if the break happens, debt is called in, old people aren't murdered by the millions, it'll be fun.
Please note that the word fun here represents at bare minimum economic crisis in the US, let alone the world, and you may think the Germans post WW1 and Russians Post WW2 had it easy.
