I don't hate him, I actually hope he keeps going the way he's going because he will eventually cause Activision to fail. He nickle and dimes consumers any way possible and is against anything that could actually make Activion's games better (that cost money) such as dedicated servers in games.

Plus if it was up to him CoD4 wouldn't have been Modern Warfare it would have been CoD4: World War II, he (Activision as a whole) was against CoD going modern and changing the series.

Where's your source for all this?
Anyway companies like EA and Ubisoft nicke and dime consumers for their money more so than Activision. How? Online passes.
What about Microsoft? $60 a year for a somthing that's offered FOR FREE on PS3.

Like it or not Activision is not as bad as these other companies.

I don't have a source off hand but it was in an interview a while back with Infinity Ward, they said Activision was against them making CoD4 a modern shooter. Activision was expecting them to just make another WWII shooter and was against change thinking it was too risky.

If it wasn't 1:24am and I wasn't tired as shit I'd go find a link for you.

Activison wasn't against making call of duty in a modern setting, they were against the rebranding of CoD as Modern Warfare. For good reason, they thought they may loose the rights to the name and wanted to keep the CoD franchise name as is. Where as infinity ward at the time was trying to distinguish themselves from treyarch the other CoD devs. Thats how i remember it atleast.

Oh is that how it was? I thought they were completely against leaving the WWII setting.
