How about introducing a character from start in Uncharted 3, have us get to know him/her very good (a lá Chloe in Uncharted 2) and then kill him/her off towards the end.
I honestly don't think they should kill anyone off at the moment. Drake Sully Elena and Chloe just.. they have to be there :_:!
