If it's just a HD upgrade, I can see why FFX got it first. It's a newer game and the textures and stuff are a lot easier to upgrade. If it was FF7, it'd take a lot more to upgrade it, because FF7 does look butt ugly when looking back on it.


If it's just an HD textures upgrade, then yes. But the thing is the article said it was a full remake; at this point I doubt either the article's veracity or Square's decision making. We'll see as more details come out, I guess. For the record, I think the article's not being 100% truthful, or at least leaving out some details.

Wasn't the original article from a French website or something and it was translated? If true, it might be where the confusion is coming from.
