Somewhere between act 1-1 and the final part of act 3, this game has hooked me like no other. I just finished act 3 and I am blown away. The graphics have taken a turn for the insane! I'm not a big fan of Ice-T's voice work, though. I just keep seeing Ice-T instead of the character he voices. Terrible choice, casting him. I also wish that I didn't read or watch any reviews of the game. I made it so close to the game's launch by avoiding all media on Gears 3, only to blow it by watching a ton of video reviews at the end. They were vague but with the tidbits of info and enough time to think, I pretty much knew what was going to happen and when.
Still, that doesn't detract from the fact that Gears 3 is everything I could have hoped it would be. Kicking off stage 4, I think it's a 9.5/10!
