4. Monster Hunter is certain for the psv that's why it shouldn't be used as a pro for 3ds, it's just more headstart stuff.

Link?
And even if it did arrive down the line, 3DS having it right away will sell systems and sway some attention away from Vita this holiday in Japan, so yes it's a definite pro for 3DS.
And yes Vita is expensive for a handheld just like 3DS was at $250 and unlike 3DS, Vita won't be able to lower its price that soon if needed.

3DS doesn't have it right away I think people forget how long it's been on the market. Vita isn't expensive for a handheld it's expensive for a handheld that's cheap to make.
|
Granted MH wasn't a launch game for 3DS, what I'm saying is 3DS will have Tri to combat the Vita's launch in Japan and it will definitely have MH4 next year while there are no plans for any MH on Vita yet, which goes a long way toward swaying buyers to 3DS.
Vita is a very good deal at $250 for what you get, just like the PS3 at $600 was a good deal for what you got too (powerful system and blu-ray player). The point is a higher price point can keep a system from selling well, even if it's still a good deal.
|
PS3 was only a good deal if you cared about blu ray, which shot the price up atleast 200, as oppossed to psv which is a good deal if you have any interest in handhelds at all and is only 80 dollars more then the 3ds (psp was 100 more and sold better then the ds at first and the ds had a similar head start)
|
3DS being $80 cheaper with two MH games announced (one releasing this year) will go a long way in Japan, which is the only place Vita will even be available this year.
Incorrect. PSP and DS launched at the same time in Japan, and PSP only came a few months later than DS in the US. 3DS will have a ten month lead over Vita in all regions, and will have a big lead in install base thanks to MH in Japan, and Mario and Mario Kart in the US.

PSV is still alot more worth it then 3DS, I don't think the price matters much with the difference in quality.
Really my bad, I read it launched in march somewhere, probably the EU version or something. 3DS kinda blow it's chance with the lead by not having any decent games for the longest time.
