Majority of Final Fantasy XIII was made up of more cut scenes than gameplay and not only that more and more games are using of real time event scenes instead of CGI.

Yeah but they also used 3 discs for the Xbox. Those 3 discs were comprised of gameplay and CGI now we're down to 1 disc with both gameplay and in-game cutscenes. That's significantly lower.
